Anna’s Potato Salad

4 lbs. Red new potatoes
8 slices Bacon
3/4 cup Green onions, chopped
1/4 cup Fresh basil
2 cups Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour cream
1-1/2 tsp. Black pepper
2 tsp. Salt

Wash potatoes, peel and dice 3/4 inch. Boil potatoes in salted water (one tsp. per gallon) for 8 to 10 minutes.

Cook until done, but firm. Drain and cool. Chop bacon, cook, drain and hold. Chop basil. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream and seasonings. Add bacon and onion and to bowl. Fold in potatoes. Refrigerate.
