Cola Chili con Carne

1 tablespoon Schnucks olive oil
1 Certified Angus Beef® boneless chuck roast (about 2 pounds), fat trimmed, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 envelope (1 ounce) Schnucks onion soup mix
3 tablespoons Schnucks chili powder
1 tablespoon Schnucks ground cumin
2 cans (15.5 ounces each) Schnucks Mexican style chili beans, undrained
1 can (28 ounces) Schnucks diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 ounces) Schnucks tomato sauce
3 cups Schnucks Super S cola
toppings: Schnucks sour cream, Schnucks shredded Cheddar cheese, diced red onion, sliced green onions, diced avocado, chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
1. In 5- to 6-quart saucepot, heat oil over high heat. Add beef; cook 4 to 6 minutes or until browned, stirring frequently. Stir in soup mix, chili powder and cumin. Reduce heat to low; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients, except toppings; heat to simmering over medium-high. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low; cook 50 to 55 minutes or until beef is tender, stirring occasionally. Serve chili with toppings of choice, if desired.
