Purple Banana Nut Bread Smoothie

1/2 cup fat-free milk
1/4 cup non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon honey, or to taste
1/8 teaspoon Schnucks pure vanilla extract
1 fresh or frozen banana, peeled
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
1/2 cup ice (optional)

In blender, add milk, yogurt, honey, vanilla, banana, blueberries, pecans, almonds and ice, if using. Purée until smooth. Makes about 2 cups or 16 ounces.

Each cup: about 250 calories, 13 g total fat (1 g saturated),
0 mg cholesterol, 45 mg sodium, 30 g carbohydrate, 4 g fiber, 19 g sugars, 8 g protein
